Ariana Grande

Ariana Grande-Butera was born on June 26, 1993. Ariana is a American singer and actress. Born in Boca Raton, Florida.

Grande began her career at age 15 in the 2008 Broadway musical 13. She rose to fame for her role as Cat Valentine in the Nickelodeon television series Victorious (2010–2013) and Sam & Cat (2013–2014). She subsequently signed with Republic Records in 2011 after the label’s executives discovered YouTube videos of her covering songs.

Ariana`s  1950s doo-wop-influenced pop and R&B debut album, Yours Truly (2013), topped the US Billboard 200 chart/ While its lead single, “The Way”, charted in the top ten of the US Billboard Hot 100. Ariane Grande maintained her pop and R&B sound on her second and third studio albums, My Everything (2014), and Dangerous Woman (2016), with the former exploring EDM and producing the UK number-one singles “Problem” and “Bang Bang”.

The latter becoming her first of four consecutive number-one albums in the UK. Her trap-infused fourth and fifth studio albums, Sweetener (2018) and Thank U, Next (2019), were both critical and commercial successes. The former won Grande a Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album, while the latter was nominated for the Album of the Year.

The singles “Thank U, Next”, “7 Rings”, and “Break Up with Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored” made Grande the first solo artist to hold the top three spots on the Billboard Hot 100 simultaneously, and the first woman to succeed herself at the top of the UK Singles Chart. Her 2020 collaborations “Stuck with U” and “Rain on Me”, helped her break the record for the most number-one debuts on the Hot 100.

Ariana Grande’s R&B-influenced sixth studio album, Positions (2020), and the eponymous title track, debuted at number-one in the U.K. and U.S., with the single becoming her record-extending fifth number-one debut on the Hot 100.

“R.E.M” by Ariana Grande

R.E.M Video

Ariana Grande Perfumes – “R.E.M” – Public Reviews

  • R.E.M. conjures up one of my first scent memories and the dream is also a theme.
At primary school age, a friend was given a small, round bottle made of frosted glass as a present. The lid was a plush rabbit head with a bow on top. Her parents had probably thought of the fragrance as a pillow spray for a peaceful sleep, because the liquid in the glass bottle had an intense lavender smell. While playing on a grey afternoon, we took the bottle and sprayed wildly all over the room until everything was literally fogged with lavender and then rolled up in warm blankets.

  • For me, it is a fragrance that I want to wear in grey autumn or winter weather, when I sit at home with a cup of tea and enjoy the rain outside. It accompanies me for some time, five to six hours the lavender is with me and becomes softer and softer. The lavender gives it a masculine touch, the sweetness of the caramel rounds it off in such a way that it can be worn regardless of gender.

Thank U Next

Ariana Grande Perfumes – “Thank U Next” – Public Reviews

  • I got this perfume for Christmas and loved it straight away. I get quite a lot of compliments when I wear this and I love the fruity flowery girly smell and that the whole of it’s pink. This is my first and only Ariana Grande perfume and I want to get Sweet Like Candy next.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this product.
  • Good quality, bought it last month and almost finished it. Delivery super fast and arrived in good condition.
  • Purchased as a gift. They were very impressed and so was I at the prices.

“Cloud” by Ariana Grande

Ariana Grande Perfumes – “Cloud” – Public Reviews

  • For me this perfume is a good alternative to the rather expensive Baccarat Rouge 540.
When I wore the original and the next day Cloud, I could see no or only minimal difference for the first moment. I find Cloud even a little more interesting. It has a skilful coconut note, which I like very much.
  • First of all: The fragrance is sold as a dupe to Baccarat Rouge 540. Unfortunately I can’t say anything about this, because I don’t own the scent of MFK. Nevertheless, I would like to give my opinion about the fragrance.I like the scent very much in the evening for sleeping, because the sweet cloud of sugar and coconut surrounds me warmly. Shortly after spraying the scent has a very light plastic note, which I don’t like at all. But thank god it disappears relatively fast.

Notes for “Cloud”

Top Notes: Lavender, Pear, Bergamot

Middle Notes: Coconut, Praline, Vanilla Orchid

Base Notes: Cashmere

“Sweet Like Candy” by Ariana Grande

Sweet like Candy

Ariana Grande Perfumes – “Sweet like Candy” – Public Reviews

    • When I’m in a bad mood, Sweet like Candy is such a scent that I come down again and put a smile on my face:))) It cheers me up and makes me somehow just happy:))) It gives me hopes that, even if you might be annoyed for the whole day or if the sun was shining again the next day. To be honest I don’t know why of all things THIS scent can make me happy, so far I can’t really explain it to myself…Do you have a question about any scent that makes you smile while sniffing at the bottle? Would I be interested in mega!:) I love ALL my scents! And everyone makes me happy too, but SLC has something magical about it!:)

    • The Ariana Grande fragrances remind me easily of the Juicy Couture fragrances… What I do not find bad now but that, newest are these smells now also again not! Still, there’s nothing you can do wrong with this scent. I wear it when I’m in a bad mood, sometimes when I’m shopping or when I don’t know exactly what to wear in the morning, then I often go for it:) H+S is OK! 4-5 hours I can smell it on my skin on the clothes but 2.hours longer.

Notes for “Sweet like Candy

Middle Notes; Jasmine Sambac, Frangipani, Dewy Honeysuckle

ARI by Ariana Grande

ARI

Ariana Grande Perfumes – “ARI” –  Public Reviews

  • One day when I went to check the mail, my life changed. A random fashion magazine came for my roommate that he did not order. Or at least, he said he did not order it. But that isn’t what this review is about. Not really caring to improve my women’s fashion knowledge, I went through the magazine looking for the scent samples. I found 5 in the magazine, but this perfume was by far, the best.
  • I love perfume in general so hopefully this review will help some people whether if they are debating on buying this or not.
I fell in love with the scent of this one. I had smelled this originally in one of those little magazine ads but I wanted to wait to smell it in person just because those don’t really do justice for how it really smells.
Went to Kohls, tested it. Liked it and said I would eventually buy it for myself.
The best way I can describe the scent is fruit that is sweet, soapy and powdery but doesn’t scream sickly sweet. If you are into the whole fruity/gourmand perfumes such as myself, then this may be up your alley.

Notes for “Ari”

Top Notes: Crispy Pear, Pink Grapefruit, Juicy Raspberry
Middle Notes: Soft Muguet, Rose Buds, Vanilla Orchid
Base Notes: Marshmallow, Creamy Musk, Blonde Woods

Description of Notes

      • Top notes: Also called the head notes. The scents that are perceived immediately on application of a perfume. Top notes consist of small, light molecules that evaporate quickly. They form a person’s initial impression of a perfume and thus are very important in the selling of a perfume. Examples of top notes include mint, lavender and coriander.
      • Middle notes: Also referred to as heart notes. The scent of a perfume that emerges just prior to the dissipation of the top note. The middle note compounds form the “heart” or main body of a perfume and act to mask the often unpleasant initial impression of base notes, which become more pleasant with time. Examples of middle notes include seawater, sandalwood and jasmine.
      • Base notes: The scent of a perfume that appears close to the departure of the middle notes. The base and middle notes together are the main theme of a perfume. Base notes bring depth and solidity to a perfume. Compounds of this class of scents are typically rich and “deep” and are usually not perceived until 30 minutes after application. Examples of base notes include tobacco, amber and musk.

Reasons to consider when purchasing your Perfume.

The reason why some perfumes are expensive really depends on what ingredients it contains which is why fake perfumes are cheaper. Because of this, the products are not natural but man made, to actually copy the scent.

Which is really a false saving because you will over time you will use twice the amount of the fake product for it to smell for the same time period as the original.

There are lots of reasons to consider when purchasing your perfume as the following will explain

Description of Types of Perfume

  • Perfume or Extrait – in English is known as perfume extract, pure perfume, or simply perfume: 15–40% aromatic compounds.
  • Esprit of Parfum (ESDP) – 15–30% aromatic compounds, a seldom used strength concentration in between EDP and perfume.
  • Eau de parfum (EdP) or parfum de toilette (PdT) – 10–20% aromatic compounds (typically ~15%). Sometimes called “eau de parfum” or “millésime”; parfum de toilette is a less common term, most popular in the 1980s. That is generally analogous to eau de parfum.
  • Eau de toilette (EDT) – 5–15% aromatic compounds (typically ~10%); This is the staple for most masculine perfumes.
  • Eau de Cologne ( EDC ) – Often simply called cologne: 3–8% aromatic compounds (typically ~5%).
  • Eau fraiche – Products sold as “splashes”, “mists”, “veils” and other imprecise terms. Generally these products contain 3% or less aromatic compounds and are diluted with water rather than oil or alcohol.

Once you have purchased your product, where do you store it?

Well most people will put their aftershave in the bathroom or on their bedside cabinet by the window, but this couldn’t be worse for your perfume.

Perfumes hate direct sunshine and damp places like a typical bathroom, so my advice would be to store it in a dark corner of your bedroom and it will last as long as the manufacturer specifications.
